Cromer’s popular Artspace on the Prom will be given a new lease of life, including lighting and heating, meaning art-lovers can enjoy exhibitions and activities later and longer.

This exhibition brings together four artists who are making work with found materials and pigments. Finding and preparing their own materials creates a personal and physical link with particular environments for these artists, who are exploring ecological issues in a variety of ways.

From October 20th to 30th there will be an exhibition on the theme of Now, Then and What Next at Artspace on the Prom. You will have seen the Open Call to artists. Please do spread the word. At the Community Hall there will be workshops, talks and performances, also linked to ideas about place and identity….

This year’s programme is at the printers ready for distribution at the end of February. If you can’t wait for your copy, please download here.

We are pleased to announce that the raffle winner was #1385; the ticket was drawn at the artists talk for the Colour open exhibition on 14th October. Congratulations to Isabelle who is now the very proud owner of the Antony Gormley print.

At this year’s Cromer Open, Chris Bailkoski led a discussion with many of the participating
artists
